Dr. Jane Lea is an Associate Professor at The University of British Columbia and a subspecialty Otologist & Neurotologist at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. She is the director of the BC Rotary Hearing & Balance centre and serves as the Otology/Neurotology Fellowship Director. She is co-chair of the Global Health Committee for the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology.

While she has past global surgery outreach experience internationally her primary focus is providing outreach services to underserved communities at home in the province of British Columbia with remote First Nations communities and with marginalized populations in the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver. Hearing loss screening and noise induced hearing loss prevention initiatives are a focus of her outreach, in collaboration with the Hearing Foundation of Canada and Indigenous community partnership.
