Dr. Lin completed her medical degree and Otolaryngology residency training at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Following residency, she pursued fellowship training in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice at the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center. During that time, Dr. Lin was funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) to obtain a Master’s Degree of Science in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh.

Currently she is an Assistant Professor and Surgeon-Investigator in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto, specializing in Laryngology.
